Inserts for the swiffer...that's a great idea and you could get them for cheap!

I use Gerber prefolds from Walmart for reusable swifter pads. They are awesome! Prior to that they were burp cloths...I never actually used them as a diaper!

I rip open the serving on the microfiber and use them to wash my car. His receiving blanket wipes as unpaper towels...

Re: Unconventional/Creative uses?

Prefolds as kitchen cloth. Preemie prefolds(never used as diapers) are great for wrapping a drippy sandwich in. Thwy also make great bibs. I also use them as dish cloths. Prefolds make great hotpads. Also great as mama cloth. And so much cheaper as well. Toddler prefolds double as infant blankets, changing pads, and rolled up as a small pillow.

Love using cloth wipes as tissues too! Just wish we had more right now as we're all sick...

Growing up, my mom would put Vicks on an old Curity flat and tie it loosely around our neck if we were congested. For some reason that felt so good when you were sick (prob also helped to keep the Vicks in place and off clothing/bedding!).

Cloth wipes are used daily at my house, and I'm not talking about wiping things. DD uses them for dolly blankets, my little Pony outfits, Barbie capes, you name it. I had to buy another dozen because I couldn't find them when I needed them.
