Diaper Swappers

I've been browsing DiaperSwappers for a while now and just decided to check out the forum side of things. Hope you ladies don't mind if I join you!

We're due July 17th with a little boy. This is going to be my second child and my husband's first. We've just recently decided to try cloth diapering this time around and I almost feel like I'm in way over my head.

I hope to get to know you ladies.

I am mostly over in August now because this group isn't that active but I will deliver no later then your due date.

Cloth diapering can be overwhelming and considering it isn't something that you can really dip your toe in. For me I got a few diapers with my son that I liked the look of and tried them out. We quickly learned what we liked that way. Our favorite was fitted diapers with snaps. Stuffing pockets wasn't fun, all in ones take forever to dry. That was our reasoning. Hopefully you will find something that works for you rather quickly.

There is a thread titles Facebook group, I think. You friend request Carly Curry and she will add you to the FB group. The link to her FB profile is in the thread. I would link to the thread but I'm on mobile and don't know how.

Welcome... I felt like I was over my head when i started cloth, too, but baby was allergic to disposable. One good thing about DS is there is so many mamas that use cloth that you can ask any question and someone will know the answer... I love CDing DD now and she loves to pick out her diapers... It's so enjoying to change a diaper and put a CD that matches a dress and not have to worry about bloomers.
