Re: Who is still pregnant?

40 weeks tomorrow, no signs of anything real, lots of contractions for a few weeks now, nothing regular, I haven't had anything painful for a few days now... just playing the waiting game. induction scheduled for Wednesday. really hoping he shows up before that!

Hang in there, Cori Lynn! Do you plan on doing anything to bring on labor?

Re: Who is still pregnant?

Hey, Krista, do we share a "due date" (2-21)? I don't expect to give birth anytime soon, but my sons were born at forty-two weeks plus three and forty-three weeks plus three...

Re: Who is still pregnant?

We are trying everything, II'm not uncomfortable, but my area midwives cannot legally provide care after 42 weeks, which is Thursday, and I have gestational diabetes so my risk of complications are slightly elevated. I've had a couple high reads the last few days. So we've done 2 membrane sweeps (there's now nothing less to sweep), sex, breast pump, walking (seriously, miles at a time), bouncing on my ball, staying warm, a 2 hour acupressure massage (yesterday), more acupressure at home, squatting. DH is picking up cohosh for me on the way home from work. After my high glucose read yesterday I had decided we might go in and have the hospital break my water, but my readings have been good all day so I think we are canceling our appointment.

I don't feel bad, but I know I have a big baby in here and I know I shouldn't go past 42 weeks so the pressure is on. If anyone is interested I've been chronicling this crazy week on my blog. Every day between 41-42 weeks has been intense to say the least! http://corilynngentry.blogspot.com/

Yes, we do. My other two were born at 39+6 and 39+3, and here I sit at 39+5... I really thought this baby was going to come earlier than the other two for some reason.
