DTD after miscarriage

DH and I were ready to TTC right away after our miscarriage (we're technically NTNP for now). My OB said to wait 2 weeks before sex. We dtd last night when it was only 12 to 13 days after the "official" onset of my miscarriage. I'd only been having off and on minimal spotting for the last week. Last night I didn't care but now I'm worrying about it today.

So... do you think it was a bad decision? Is it likely that I'm ok? I have no pain or bleeding. I guess I'm just worrying about the likelihood of infection at this point. :-/

If you've experienced a loss, how long did you give it?

I'm mommy to Zach. Hoping for more. :-)

I think your fine mama. Especially with no bleeding and no pain today. I gave it until after I stopped bleeding with our 7 weeks loss. So about 10-12 days.

Re: DTD after miscarriage

I wouldn't worry about it at all, mama. I've never held off for any specific length of time after our births or miscarriages - whenever I've felt ready, physically and emotionally, we've dtd.
