A tad bit of schadenfreude?

This morning my kids were playing with Playdoh. They left it open. I reminded them to close it. They didn't. Big surprise, it dried out. My secret victory today? Throwing it out . They have tons and I've been waiting for it to dry out so I can fit it all in one tub.

Anyone else?

Yes! The same thing happened here a few weeks ago with play-doh! I also get this way with cheap plastic dollar store "filler" toys that come from relatives. I know they're going to break quickly and I remind DD to be gentle but in the end, I'm glad when they get to be tossed

I'm with you! I get this sick pleasure when a toy is broken or completely used up. It's another step toward simplicity that I didn't have to initiate!

I used to not let kids bring toys into the tub because they would rust, now I hear myself say things like, do you want another car in there while I imagine being able to throw it out? Ha ha.
