Specifically kindergarten/1rst grade teachers? What's a good "I'm sorry my kid is a little brat" gift?

My son has been so difficult this year and bless her heart, she had him last year too. He's had two demerits already this week, he's picking fights with other kids and being difficult about getting his work done, specifically goofing off and pretending he doesn't know how to do it. I feel terrible because he's not the only one but he certainly knows better. I want to send something to let her know I appreciate all she has to do to keep her sanity on a daily basis and that I know she has to work that much harder when my kid's being a little snot. Thoughts? I don't think she drinks coffee if that makes a difference.
