That'd probably do it Jess

Re: Happy Basic Friday

My poor body just had an attack of the Screaming FEED ME's!

I'm hoping the headache that started up on me will be go now that I've eaten. I grabbed the käsewürstchen from the fridge and made cheese toasties too. I hadn't eaten anything since yesterday dinner time.

Re: Happy Basic Friday

I got a dozen free range fresh eggs from one of my teacher friends

It is cold today, the heat is hard to regulate in this library

All books unpacked, now to get them shelved over lunch.

Janine my sister has what she calls "the family closet" she actually had them convert one of her bedrooms into a huge closet that actually has room and for her washer and dryer too. So wash, dry and hang up or put on a shelf all of the clothes. Everyone has a set of open shelves and bins for folding type clothes and then there is one area for all the hanging/dress clothes. Everyone used to dress and undress in there too. They are older(16/12/8) now so now they go in, pick out there clothes, and get ready in their rooms. At night everyone gets jammies on and all the dirties are dumped in the laundry sorter in the closet. Works great and there is never a clothes bomb mess in the kids rooms.

Re: Happy Basic Friday

I'm quite excited about the idea. We can make it nice. It doesn't have to be a horrible mess in there and all the kids will have room for their stuff.

My sister told me she was coming to visit from the 17th-22nd of March so today I asked my boss if I can have the time off. He straight away agreed. So I text her to say it's ok and I have the time off....turns out she's broke because she's been claiming child benefit (IDK if you have that there but it's money the government pays you as long as you're in full time education up until 27 years old) after she got married. SO that's 6 months of money she has to pay back. How much per month depends on how many kids you have. My father has only 1 child in education so she has to pay back 1104€

KINDERGELD HÖHE 2013

Kinder------ Kindergeld
Kind 1 & 2 -184 Euro
Kind 3 -190 Euro
Kind 4 (+) -215 Euro

That's just so stupid...I have no idea why she thought she's get away with that.

Oh well I've decided to just leave it as it is and enjoy a week of peace.

Hola mamacitas. Watching my parents build a snow fort with the kids. From inside.

I have read a lot of stories about larger families using family closets. Makes total sense, bonus if you have the w/d in there too. I can't wait to see it Janine.

It wont be happening until April, that's when the floor is being done. For now Fynn is staying where he is. He sleeps so well in my room...I'm not that thrilled at him going out of it to be honest. I really doubt the girls will let him sleep.

Hopefully you enjoy your week off Janine!

No family closet here, we live in a small 2bdrm apt. It sounds like a great idea though!

A room in the ILs flat; it's a room they dont use...it's not going to be a true Family closet in that it will only be for the kids clothes. Heiner and I will still have our clothes in our room-
