DS wasn't picky and took to whatever bottles we gave him. We have Dr browns regular and wide mouth. DD, well it's a whole other story. She took the regular bottle the first time DH offered then refused the second time a few weeks later. I went back to work this week and she refused the bottle all day. Then we tried the wide mouth that evening and she took two bottles! I did pick up a tommy Tippee that day but never tried since the design was similar to the dr brown's wide mouth (concept wise anyways). I agree with pp that wide mouth mimics the breast somewhat.

Re: Favorite/best brands of nipples, milk bottles
My favorite bottles are Lifefactory glass bottles. You can use the Dr. Brown nipples on them as well. I purchased them on Amazon.com. I like using the Honeysuckle storage bags. I didn't have enough freezer space for bottles but I think the less plastic the better

I like Avent Natural glass bottles and honeysuckle bags. If you have a Medela pump, the Medela pump n save bags are very convenient too because you can pump directly into the bag.
