Anyone use flats padfolded in Bestbottom covers?

Title says it all! How do they compare with Flip in terms of fit, do they bunch up & are they trim? Also wondering if they will get too hot, with the 2 layers of PUL.

Seeing all the love Diaper Safari is getting here, can't make up my mind if I should get BB or wait for Diaper safari to stock up.

Oh well......decisions, decisions

TIA!

I am not in love with flips but for padfolding flats they are way better than bestbottom. I cannot get that really trim good fit with the bestbottom cover. I personally think bestbottom works best with their snap in inserts. I hope that this helps.

I use pad folded flats exclusively w my Best Bottom covers, they are super trim and my first choice under jeans when we're out and about. They are good covers and I haven't had a problem with them being too hot, but I've only had them a few months so...

I only use padfolded flats in my BB covers and don't get bunching or leaks. My LO is currently 2 1/2 months and they're working fine for us

Thanks for the help ladies!

Do BB covers have flaps to tuck the pad folded flat in? Are they stretchy enough to get a good fit?

If you are looking for a cover that will work well with flats, that has flaps for tucking and is a little stretchy, I recommend Swaddlebees Capri. They have double gussets like BB, but are stretchier and have flaps.

Flips are great if you have a plan for when they get too small. Best Bottoms won't fit any longer, and since they have less stretch, one row of snaps, no flaps to hold stuff... I wouldn't bother.

Thirsties is the improvement to Flip, in terms of lasting. Even now that my son needs 2 flats and some doublers at night, Thirsties Duo 2 fits great. Flip had started leaking.
