Re: 2,013 Items in 2013!

Had a great weekend! Dh and I tackled the basement stuff we had already packed including holiday stuff. We were able to eliminate 317 things. Which we were really happy with and it is starting to look very organized which we are loving!

I'm pretty happy with our progress this weekend!

So my new total is 965/2013

Haven't updated in a while but I'm keeping a tally on my dry erase board in the kitchen...

1109/2013

If I stay this motivated I could be through this by the end of march lol. And this isn't even counting stuff we hauled off outside and the boxes dh burned from our building this weekend . I'm finally starting to see a difference. And my 6 yo dd is on board too which is amazing in itself!

Is anyone else just donating everything? I have stuff I could probably sell but it would just add extra stress and time. It keeps my motivation going more if I just get rid of it. It also keeps me from changing my mind and keeping it lol

Me. There are a few things I've tried to sell. I keep them in a pile and if they haven't sold by the time I take the next donation trip they go with it. Since I only take the stuff when the paper I write everything down is full, it gives me some time and not like I'm wasting the time. They would sit in the box either way.

This seems like a good idea! I've been trying to sell things on Craigslist (like I mentioned earlier) and I finally got a spam email about one of them. At least I know other people can see them! haha. I'm feeling lazy about listing them here on DS, but I probably should.
