Aspiring Midwives?

I dont know where else to post this, but does anyone here happen to know of any groups or etc for midwives/midwifery students? I have a couple natural birth and mama groups on FB, but not many of the people in them are interested into going into this profession and Id like to have some people "in the same boat" to visit with and ask questions to.

I'm a student midwife! I'm from MN, but I'm sure you can tap into the student community in your state for more connections. Utah has a FAB midwifery community!

I'll go for my CNM when my kiddos are in highschool, which I think will require a PhD. For now I'm just trying to get out of med/surg nursing and into OB.

I'm finishing up my BSN and heading towards my ultimate goal of a Certified Nurse Midwife. I was on the path to become a 'traditional midwife' but it was an eye opening experience to say the least and I soon realized the CNM path is where I needed to be.
