He's a happy healthy energetic 2 year old. The bruising lasted only a day or two, and surprisingly, he didn't have any jaundice. The midwife was expecting it, since there was so much bruising. I was pretty sore for a few days afterwards, since the midwife had used her hands to kind of open up my pelvic bones to make more room as I pushed, and that really hurt. Other than that though, we were all fine. No tearing, and no lasting effects for either of us. The labour was actually my easiest - I couldn't believe it when they told me I was 10cm already. It wasn't until the pushing that things got hard.

Happy to hear he's doing well! That's amazing that it was an easy labour and that you didn't tear. The right position helps so much!

We're doing great, thanks! She was so small at birth but is gaining just fine. She's about 9 1/2 lbs (maybe less) at 2 months and cute as a button!

Did you exercise regularly during pregnancy? I'm wondering if that has anything to do with your tummy going flat
