you can also use the pump turned up while you massage, and don't be alarmed if the milk comes out a bit pink! it's still fine to give baby.

I had been trying abit ago too to add a comment that years ago when I kept getting them my doc or le leche league told me to buy granulated lecithin to prevent it. I musta mixed it into yogurt... Not sure but I got it at a local food co-op. I dont remember if it helped or not... its been way too long.

I seem to have gotten rid of it. I just used the warm washcloth in a bag and applied it to the area before nursing then massaged the area while nursing. Took a couple days. Glad it didn't get worse. Thanks again for all the comments!

Sure thing! I remember them well and honestly think I still have a tender area on that boob from way back when. Fingers crossed they don't happen w/ this new baby. If you get another consider frequent position changes when nursing.

My friend had something that sounds like that and the dr said it was a clogged duct. Use a sock filled with rice heated up in the microwave and try nursing frequently and it should pass ) good luck!
