Baby looks exactly like his older brother?

I thought I would ask moms who have had several or more, I am wondering how common this is, as my second son I just had in January is a spitting image of his brother. He even has the same baby voice my first had when he was a tiny baby. Their cries are different for sure though! My first was born with an extra fold in one of his ears and this one has it too, but in the opposite ear! This new little one is definitely easier going. So do babies of the same gender you've had typically look pretty much like twins as babies? Or have you had some who looked a lot different from each other as newborns/infants?

I have two girls 6 years apart. They have different dads and the baby looks just like the older ones baby pictures. So they must both look like me

Re: Baby looks exactly like his older brother?

I have 3 kids. 14 yo DSS, 12 yo DSD and 3yo. She looked exactly like both in facial expressions - especially DSS. Now, as she is older, she looks more like the brother. The older brother and sister looks alike a lot too, down to the legs! It is uncanny. And all of them look like their dad.

I joke with my husband that he merely used his X and me as incubators.

My two sons looked nothing alike as newborns...nor now. One looks like DH, the other looks like me.

Ds1 and ds2 look different and have from birth, however when I pulled dd up onto my chest after I delivered her, I took one look at her and thought she was ds1 as a newborn. She is definitely growing into her own look but she looks way more like her biggest brother than my boys looking alike.

DS1 has a different dad and looked similar to my DS2 and 4. DS2 and 4 were identicle. The only difference is that DS4 has a dimple on his cheek and DS2 does not. DS2 looks like my DH's family and nothing like our kids or my oldest son. He does however, look like his step sister ( DH's DD).

All three of my boys look identical. My 12 and 9 yo dd's could pass for twins minus the height difference. I also have 2 with blond hair and blue eyes and the rest with brown hair and brown eyes. Dh is blond and blue, I am brown and brown. My 2 blondies are my 17yo dd and 7yo dd. They look very much alike. They don't even look like my kids! Lol!

DS #1 looks exactly like me, DS #2 looks exactly like my ex... So they look
Nothing alike. It will be interesting to see if number 3 looks like me or his dad...

Our 3rd child, DD2, and our 6th child, DD4, look identical. Same hair. Skin coloring. Eyes. Teeth. Freckles. Even their personalities are alike. It will be interesting to watch them grow up
