Glow pets??

My mom wants to get DS a glow pet for his bday. I am not sure. I feel like it is probably full of bad chemicals but he would probably love it..... There is not time to let it air out for long

Would you just let this be one of those things that you let grandma enjoy the pleasure of giving him or say no because your not sure about it????

This is the glow pet http://www.glowpets.com/Default.asp?bhcp=1

From the makers of pillow pets-those glow pets? I would allow them. I think my girls would love them. They have a million pillow pets and adore the dream lites

Swagbucks. Search. Earn. Redeem. Yep, it's that simple (I've earned $70 in gift cards and counting!).

Yes this is the one. I am honestly leaning toward letting her get this for DS. I kinda hate thinking about the chemicals that are likely in this sort of thing but I try to weigh these types of things... I am more about limiting exposure than eliminating it all together. Lets face it some things that are bad for us are pretty darn fun I thought it looked super cute.

Re: Glow pets??

I have the cloud b turtle to give to DD for her birthday party Sat. My sister in law has 5 kids and they all have one and use them to fall asleep. I was there Fri while watching her 2 yr old & my 2 yr old. It was nap time and I put both babies in the same room. I laid on the bed so the babies could see me. I watched the stars and before I knew it, we were all 3 sleeping. It was better than counting sheep. I got up, turned it off, and finished taking a nap with the kids.

DS1 got the cloudb turtle too. He loved it. Now he has passed it on to DS2 who also loves it. They would both lay in bed and look up at the stars and fall asleep quietly.

Re: Glow pets??

My youngest has the turtle but my oldest has the pillow pet dream light, if he finds out about this he will want one and so will his brother, they love these things (Tharen would have every night light option in the world). I would probably allow it but I'm not that worried about these things.
