My MIL found this hilarious rhyming book called "I ain't gonna paint no more"
We read it every day with my 5 year old and it is funnier every time.

I love Oliver Jeffers books. "Stuck" is a funny one. I imagine it would get 4 year olds laughing. "The Moose Belongs to Me" is really sweet too

any of the dr suess or llama llama books are a big hit here!

They just read Enemy Pie to a group of kids at the Unitarian Church and the kids all really liked it. It was funny and had a good message. The if you give a (moose a muffin, cat a cupcake etc) series and the llama series is also usually well liked.
