Re: HS Weight Loss Thread- March

My kids are too young for HS yet but I will when they are older. I have currently joined Isagenix and I'm excited about getting more energy to exercise!

I did fine at breakfast, 3pt Greek yogurt. We ate out with friends for lunch (glad I had plenty of flex points!). Not sure what dinner is going to be. I still have about 6 hours worth of work to finish so its probably going to be another late night. Not sure that I'll have time for exercise today. Still haven't had any water today but I've certainly had plenty of diet coke!
i got the powder at kroger. if you don't have kroger, try something like trader joe's or maybe publix.

we ate out tonite. a rarity, but i had a great coupon to sweet tomatoes. according to my calcs, i had 20 WW pts O.O but added to the rest of the day, i had a total of 33. so not too shabby since i get 29/day. and i'll throw the other 4 on my weekly. and btw, i am not attending the WW mtgs. i am just trying to get better about keeping up w/my pts as a way of accountability

We do have a Kroger. Is it in the bulk or natural food section?

natural food section. it's about $4/jar. i'm the only one that eats it as the kids eat the fresh ground stuff from the health food store. it's 1 pt per serving, and a serving is 2Tbsp

ETA: you mix it w/1tbsp water to make it PB that you can spread on bread or whatever. it's pretty decent. all it is is peanuts, salt, and a lil' sugar. it's good stuff

Re: HS Weight Loss Thread- March

Just saying hi! Trying to stay on track this weekend, we have a b-day party tomorrow with pizza and cake...must.have.self.control. It helps knowing that I have to go weigh on Monday. WW is still going well. I went to the store without kids to really search for some good snacks. I found some stuff I'm really happy! Laughing cow cheese is only 1pt per wedge...yay!

Haven't made it to the Y yet to sign up. Probably tomorrow. Took the girls to a Girl Scout function and walked at least a couple miles.

Re: HS Weight Loss Thread- March

Hi Ladies
I've joined a couple different weight loss challenges, so to speak, but it's always nice to have extra accountability! Right now, I'm trying to lose about 20-22.5 lbs. to get down to my pre-pregnancy weight with #1 & 3. Between babies #3 & 4, I never lost the last 12 lbs., and now am 10.5 lbs. above that weight.

I've started loosely following the Trim Healthy Mama plan, and trying to workout at least 5 days a week, so hoping the weight comes off soon! Hoping to lose 5-7 lbs. this month!

Height: 5'6 1/2"
Weight:165.5
Goal Weight:143

Re: HS Weight Loss Thread- March

I will join in as well...

Height 5'1"
Current weight 121.5
Goal weight 110-115

I am a 20+ miles a week runner, training for my second 1/2 marathon. I am happy with my pace (around 8:30 min/mile), but I would love to drop some fat and see if I can improve my pace even more. Plus, I hate the jiggle have in some places. I'm not planning on joining a program or anything, I just need to cut my carbs and sugar intake and up my fruits and veg. I drink almost exclusively water, with a cup of tea most days.

Anyway, I have been wanting to loose weight since Eli was born. He's two know, so the baby weight excuse is long gone.

Re: HS Weight Loss Thread- March

Just checking in, sorry I haven't had time to read all of the updates yet. WW was good, the scale actually said 5# less than my home scale said

But let me just say, what is it about a diet that makes you want to eat!!!
