My daughter will be 7yrs in may. She only weighs 31.5 lbs though. But her current carseat expires in april. I was looking at a graco hbb that starts at 30 lbs but I'm not sure that I'm comfortable since she is so tiny and just barely goes over the minimum weight limit. But honestly we can't afford to really spare more then $100 and we have to buy 2 seats because both dd's seats are expiring at the same time as we bought them together.

So what do you ladies think about the hbb or if you know of a harnessed seat that is super cheap but has a higher weight limit.

I'd get a turbo booster too. Tiny or not she's still 7, and you can easily get 2 turbo boosters with $100.

That happen with my 6 year old who is small for her age and weighed about that. I got her a booster. She fit in it correctly and sit still so I was OK with it.

Your child is exactly why boosters like the Turbo have the 30lb starting weight. Yes, she is low weight, BUT she still has a 7 yr old skeleton, so she will be perfectly safe in something like a Turbo.
