We are just starting to use flats and I'm in the process of prepping them. I purchased cotton doublers for them, but I only purchased enough for one doubler per flat. Do you find that the cotton doublers do not hold as much or have to be changed more frequently than some of the other doublers? Also what are some tips you have about using flats?

Re: Flats question

I did a very unscientific test with a small unbleached cotton doubler from GMD and a WAHM made small fleece hemp doubler and they both held the same amount of water. But the fleece hemp is much thinner than the cotton.
