Wool Wrap Cover for Pad Folded Flats

I am thinking about maybe trying wool at night on my 16 month old DD. We are using flip covers right now which work fine but wool seems so squishy and nice, plush I like that it's more breathable than PUL.

I would love to know if it's possible to use a pad folded flat in a wool wrap. I don't like to pin, snappi or boingo so pad folding is it for me. Do wraps fit as snug as PUL covers? Do you think the flat would shift too much at night (I use a flat with a hemp doubler)?

Any sugestions on what covers are best? I would love something super cute.

Thanks!

I don't lay in, we boingo, but our Nicki's wool wrap is nice and snug. I have a medium on my 19lb 15 month old.

it would work fine! i do that sometimes, actually sometimes i fold them so the back frays out, not sure what it is called more like a triangle though but pad folding would be fine too, DS is 14 months so i doubled up on the flats cuz we have smaller ones...didnt have any issues with it...i loved it i just need more flats and more wool wraps i have more pull up style covers for wool, HTH!

Yes we have 2 recycled wool wraps that are OS and nightworthy and AWESOME. They are specifically made for laying in a prefold or a flat. Ozark Mountan Mama makes them. They are not super trim but for night that doesn't matter for us.

I really want to try this with my wool wraps. I always thought that pad folding would not work in wool. So excited!!

I'm excited too! I never wanted to try wool because I only pad fold but now I guess I'll buy my DD a wrap and see how it goes

For one size recycled wraps that are incredibly affordable there's MamaBear Babywear on Etsy. I've successfully used Loveybums and Imse Vimse for padfolding.

What size do you need, I have some wraps on FSOT.

Actually, FSOT would be the first place to check for wool to test out before you commit. Stick to the main stream brands though because you can spend a lot of $$$ experimenting via FSOT when you may have been just better off getting something new that is highly rated.
