Us too here! Love our boba and love the superman toss.

I found sitting down on the passenger front seat helpful for getting babe in back carry.
I buckle on waist strap, hold babe in one arm, sit facing outside on the passenger seat, spread out carrier on seat behind you with straps untangled, bring babe up over your head, hold babe to your body with one arm, and then bring straps and carrier up to buckle on. Check to make sure the legs are correct before you tighten.
Also do a few hops to get babe down in the carrier seat. Hth!

With an older toddler, have them help by holding on like a monkey while you get them in.
Exactly what I do. With my 9 mo I put my Ergo on with the body on my hip and loosen the waist belt so it slides easier. I put baby on my hip and pull the back up, put the straps on my arms, then turn the waist belt...tighten and go . I think DD1 was about 15-18 mo when she started hanging on my shoulders so I could do it the other way.

Re: Baby on your back while out ?

I prefer to superman toss with my 22 month old. From about 5 months to about 13 months, though, he would try to twist too much for that to be safe, and he kicked for a hip scoot, so we used the passenger seat of the car to "couch mount". Lay out the carrier, set baby in it, sit in front of baby/carrier, buckle the waist, and then pull on the straps. Get out of the car and make sure baby has a good seat. Tighten as needed.

I would just search YouTube to see different ways. From what I have seen the Santa Toss looks best to me. But I'm not wearing my baby yet being that he isn't born.

Re: Baby on your back while out ?

could you do it in the car while sitting? I feel safer doing it that way...
