I didn't fast either, they didn't tell me too. The drink is horrid, and waiting sucks.

Re: Getting my 1 hour glucose test

once when I had to take it, I literally fell to my knees at the OB's office because I thought I was going to faint and had to crawl to the bathroom to throw up in the toilet. It can be a shock to the system!

Just test like a diabetic does, with a meter. My midwife wanted me to test several times a day for three days to be sure. It never hurts to ask, it's better than being that sick.

That's my plan. If they say I need to do the 3 hour I will just test for 3 days an refuse the 3 hour.
My mom had to take the 3 hour test multiple times cause she couldn't keep the drink down. I don't wanna go through that!

Got a call from the doctor. My glucose levels were high. They want me to do the 3 hour but I requested to just take my blood glucose levels at home for a few days. The doctor is going to call back with directions for me to follow.
