Flip Daytime on Small Babies?

I tried searching for this, but couldn't find anything. If there is a thread please lmk

How are the new Flip Daytime's working for everyone? Anyone have any feedback on them on small babies? I'm really leaning towards the new flip daytime's because they seem trim, simple and one size. I want the same sytem for DD and DS.

I wouldn't be starting DD in them till the cord fell off, and she was a lil' bigger. . .

Anyone have any pics?? Any age baby would be great, as DS will be using them too, but I haven't seen any pics on a 10-15lb baby, so that would just be awesome! Thanks!

My little guy has been wearing them since he was 2 months and 12 lbs. he is 3 months and 14 lbs now and they are trim and sooo soft! I LOVE them! I will try and post a pic tomorrow when I am at the computer. I even accidentally left him in one with a flip cover last night (I usually use sposies at night) for 12 hours with no leaks!

Re: Flip Daytime on Small Babies?

This is highly unscientific, as I have no newbie to try this on, but I took a BG xs AIO and made it into a cover, and shortened the rise, and put a daytime flip inside of it, and it seems fine. I put it on Curious George. You can see pictures here, those pictures are George wearing the cover with the flip insert inside.

Totally my plan for newbie.

How do you fold it to fit? I have a few but wasn't sure how I'd fold them down for a newbie

Re: Flip Daytime on Small Babies?

I think you could basically fold it into thirds each lengthwise and widthwise and it would work fine

My 11 month old has a super short rise and is still on the smallest rise setting of her Flips. I like to lay the insert out and then fold the top and the bottom up to the rise I want. They overlap but that's ok. Then fold that in thirds and place in cover. Its how I padfold all my flats for the small rise.
