Oven locks and fridge locks?

Any recommendations for oven locks and fridge locks? My 18 month old will not stop opening the fridge and oven and grabbing things to run off with... He doesn't "get" that he shouldn't do those things, yet.

Re: Oven locks and fridge locks?

We liked this one for the oven http://www.albeebaby.com/safety-1st-...FYF9OgodqR8AlA
Takes a little bit to get use to but it works well.

We never found anything for the fridge. The ones that go on the side and kind of buckle would never stay on the fridge. If you have a side by side you can use a hand towel looped threw and tied in a knot. Or you could go easy and super cheap and use duct tape near the top of the fridge. It would be easier to get into then the towel. Maybe someone else had better luck with a commercial fridge lock.

For the fridge I just tied a bungee cord around the door handles tight so that my son couldn't pull open the doors.

My 1yo won't leave the oven alone either :/ The fridge she's seemed to have lost interest in.

We clipped a dog leash around the handles of our fridge. Just slides it when you need to open it.
