Question Toddler Breastfeeding and Cycles...

Can we talk toddler breastfeeding and cycles?

Anyone get their cycle back and then have it go away again? I am still nursing my almost 2 year old. I have recently cut down night nursing from 3 sessions to just one. She nursed more during the day due to this but now things are evening out.
Anyway I've had my cycle back since about 1yr pp. Anywhere from 28-35 day cycles. I'm now on cycle day 45 and no period. NOT pregnant. Blood test to confirm that. My OB said it was just due to breastfeeding and it's normal. I would think after a year of having my cycle back I wouldn't just skip one.

It is common and normal to have 1-3 wacky cycles per year as a woman. This would include an annovulatory cycle that would keep AF from coming to town.
