Re: Reusable nursing pads

I've only tried a couple different store bought brands, but my favorite so far have been these. You just have to wash/dray them a few times before using, but they are soooo soft and very affordable. I also bought some Gerber brand (I thiiink) at Burlington Coat Factory and I hate them! They like, melt in the dryer. Anyway, I would buy these again in a heartbeat!

Re: Reusable nursing pads

Bamboobies are the best. I leak quite a bit and these can handle it. I do go thru more than one set a day so I have to wash them all every night. I have 4 pairs.

I bought organic pads from buy buy baby. They're wonderful, but make sure you use a nipple butter or you might find yourself sticking to them

How easy are they to make? Or is it cheap enough to just buy the reusable ones? I haven't had my baby yet, so I haven't started breastfeeding but I'm just trying to do research!

I got 3 pair plus one mama cloth panty liner from pampered mama for $20 plus she had a $5 off coupon code and free shipping, well worth the $15

Re: Reusable nursing pads

I made mine from just flannel. 5 layers or so. I didn't have a serger so I zigzagged the edges and then went over that with a straight stitch. Serging is much faster and prettier. They are super simple to make. (Mine were flat not contoured.)

Which pampered mama did you get? It seems like there are many options. Just curious because I am also trying to find something good. Thanks!

I got both velour and minky - they're the same just with a different fabric for against the skin. Minky is softer but they're both awesome! I just got whatever she had in stock

But I guess I like the velour a TAD more... They're all good though. Got some mama cloth liners too.
