Congrats! So exciting! I love winning stuff... Especially when it is useful!

Keeping me on my toes.
Good info. So even good nursers are inconsistent.

Breastfeeding is hard. Everyone says wake him, but he just gets pissed for attempts that end with no success.

Yup, anything comfortable. I definitely wouldn't plan on wearing my pre-pregnancy jeans and a fancy top, kwim?
I usually just wear a pair of mat jeans, or stretchy pants, and a mat shirt. I find I'm about the same size right after birth as I was at 5ish month pregnant - not all that small! Although it does go away quite a bit in the first couple weeks.

AFM: I had contractions 4 minutes apart, started at 5:30, getting more intense and painful. Buuuut... they only lasted about 3 hours, then stopped. Ah well. Maybe next time, lol.

Give him time yet, he'll get there - birth is hard work for baby, too, not just mama! He's probably tired out from that. If you can, keep him skin-to-skin with you for a bit - even if he's sleepy he may still latch on and nurse!

For home from hospital I always bring yoga pants and one of DHs t-shirts. I'm just going to my car then home so don't feel a need to be all fancy.

Emily - I know what you mean! Couldn't wake this baby to nurse the first 24 hours for ANYTHING!! Yes, even great nurslings have rough days. BFing is easy and natural for some but most of us have to work for it!!

I have a feeling i wont even want to put on mat jeans after. I barely want to put on clothes to go out now Lol!!

Contractions sound like such a tease! It'll be the real show soon
