assorbancy was an issue but I rarely kept a diaper on mine longer than an hour anyways so it wasn't a huge deal. Still it was nice when she bulked up enough to handle the next size. We ended up goign from preemie to imagine smalls pretty fast.

Re: Premie size prefolds - worth it?

I guess we're unusual, but I'm still using preemie prefolds on my eight-month-old, seventeen-pound dd. I'm not sure how many layers they have, but we EC and don't need a lot of absorbency during the day. They do hold one pee, and that's enough for us. I can actually still Snappi them, although just barely. The preemie prefolds we have are the same size as the GMD preemies (9" x 11").

Yes, I couldn't handle it at that point. My girls were taking 1.5 hours to eat at that time and I was quickly having a melt down. I switched to disposables for a few weeks until I could handle it better

This is super helpful mamas.

I've actually been looking at Imagine nb size which are 2x5x2 ply but longer than GMD premies. I'm thinking I might like the trimmer fit of those. Plus they are substantially cheaper at every size.
