Charts, tips, advice?

March was our first month of REALLY TTC. Before it was just a "if it happens it happens" kind of thing. I don't think we were successful this month, which bums me out but hey it's the first month right. Anyway this month I'm getting serious about it. I need your guy's advice though. I've never really had to put much thought into this before so it's all sorta new to me. What charts do you guys you? What do you keep track of...temps, cm, mood, symptoms? Do you take ovulation test or just make educated guesses? I have PCOS so my cycles are all over the place. I can go from 23 days to 45 days and I just recently started keeping track of them again so I have no idea how long/short they have been running. Anyway I would really like to starting tracking/charting and really getting an idea of what the heck my body is doing ya know..lol

I track my temps and use fertility friend. I don't pay for the VIP, not worth it IMO. Sometimes I check my cervix. I also track my cervical mucous.

I don't do opks only because I'm cheap.

A really useful book for you would be "taking charge of your fertility". They also have a website.

Hope that helps.

I have pcos and temping never really told me much. I did metformin, and clomid with 2 out of 3 girls. I also just keep track of how long my cycles are... I am 33 days. I also did o tests, that seemed to be the best indicator for me since I O about a week later then the normal 28 day cycle. Good Luck!! Hope to be joining everyone at the end of summer!

Re: Charts, tips, advice?

I used an app called mydays to get pregnant with my first child. It at least helped me keep track of everything include my cycle days, when I should be ovulating, when my husband and I had sex, and when my flow was supposed to start. It definitely helped us to get pregnant but my body did not. Apparently I don't ovulate every cycle so it took 9 months of trying. Not terribly long, but felt like an eternity!
