wrapping question

I have a size 6 Nati wrap, i love it! However, I hate wrapping in parking lots because some of the material gets on the ground. What are your solutions?

Re: wrapping question

There are some carries that can be pre-tied at home, so you can pop the baby in and go. Some people manage to wrap beside an open car door, resting the tails on the seat. If it's nice enough outside, I don't worry about it but if it's yucky I usually just carry wrap and baby into the store and then wrap once we're inside.

I do a FWCC and leave it on. Or try to wrap with tails in the car. Some of the hip carries are pretty popable.

You can also tuck the tails into pockets or your waistband while you tie it on to keep them from dragging. It gets a little bit tangled near the ends while you are tying this way but it can all be fixed easily. I almost always do my tying this way as I sometimes use a size 6 and am only 5'1"

Re: wrapping question

I let the tails hit the ground while getting my wrapping started because the tails never touch the baby, so I'm not concerned. I'm not afraid of some germ exposure though. Everybody's got their own level of germ comfort.
