Question ~~How Do you make shampoo?~~

I tried Dr Brooners/water/ coconut oil but it is making my daughters hair really greasy. Does anyone have that problem?

How do you make your shampoo?

I don't, lol. I wouldn't consider that an easy thing to replace. But it would be interesting to hear what others have to recommend.

Try adding some baking soda in with the Dr. Bronners and cutting back on the coconut oil. Baking soda and Dr. Bronners will get pretty much anything cleaned and de-greased. If you are mixing the coconut oil in with what you are washing her hair with, try eliminating it altogether and just adding it later as needed. I have to be careful with coconut oil myself (and I have curly, frizzy hair) because it will make it too greasy.

Re: ~~How Do you make shampoo?~~

I've used straight baking soda on my 8 year old son's growing out hair and it's sooo soft afterwards.
