Re: how do you clean your oven/drip pans?

Make a paste with baking soda and hydrogen peroxide about the consistency of toothpaste. Spread it everywhere there is crud in the oven, close the door and LET IT SIT at least an hour though I wouldn't let it sit for more than 5. There is a little bit of smell but it isn't fumy. Afterward get a wet scrubby sponge and start scrubbing. There is some elbow grease involved but the crud comes off MUCH easier.

I've tried Shaklee cleaning concentrate, vinegar, and baking soda alone and this combo did the best job.

For baked on greasy crud, I use borax dampened to paste consistency. A bit of elbow grease, but its satisfying somehow, too.

I use baking soda and a damp rag for the cook top, works like a charm, then I spray vinegar inside and sprinkle baking soda, then spray again with vinegar, let sit for a while, it pretty much dissolves most everything!
