Eh, I guess fit/function first and foremost then price then cuteness.

Re: What is most important to you in buying a diaper?

1) Function(Fit/durability)
2) easy to wash
3) price

I think function and price go hand in hand. If the diaper does not work for us it is not worth the money. Fit and durability play and important part in that. If it does not fit well it will not properly function. If its not durable a low price serves of no purpose since you will have to keep on buying a diaper to replace it.
As for ease of wash. I can not for the life of me be bothered by something that takes longer (or has more specifics) to wash than one of my outfits. Especially something that goes on a hiney! lol

Re: What is most important to you in buying a diaper?

1. Fuction/fit
2. Easy to use.
3. Price
4. Cute.

The "environmental" factor didn't come in to play for me as much as the cost of disposables did.

For me the most important is how well it will work followed by price. I'm on a budget so that's what matters to me. Function and price.
After that material. I would like to stay with mostly natural fibers. Then I like to support wahm over large business. So I tend to search etsy for low prices wahm diapers that use natural fibers

Re: What is most important to you in buying a diaper?

My order
Diaper style/system if I dont like it I'm not intrested in the rest..
price- can I afford it? am I will to spend that amount or willing to save knowing what I may..
fiber content- okay style is great price is acceptable lets check the materials..
supporting local wham/bussiness - IF I can get the above plus support local a plus
Environmental Responsibility of Manufacturer - this one is kinda weaved into my above choices actually..
Aesthetic appeal- again it is kinda weaved into the above but I also want function over fancy thankfully in the CD world I rarely have to give up one for the other.

Diaper system - AI2 for us
Price & material - cotton or hemp & must be affordable. Don't mind paying but not ragababe prices

Fiber content?
Diaper style?
Price?
Environmentally concious?
Aesthetics?
Supporting individual?

First is price. I'm a practical person and if it isn't affordable or will cause undo burden on the family, I won't do it. Second point, is it healthy for my baby and for our family? Considering the effect of a day in disposables on my LO's bum, I am willing to do a little extra work to keep him comfortable. Next, I like to think of how environmentally conscious it is. Will this cause a huge footprint or not? I consider things like how much water will be needed and what impact will a dozen disposables a day cause on the environment. That argument really convinced me. Then comes the look and ease of using a cloth diaper versus a disposable, and I can say that cloth is easier because I never have to run to the store because I ran out of diapers. Less time behind the wheel means less stress for me, less impact on our family's ecosystem. Another selling point for me is where it's made, as it means keeping jobs in the country and sustaining a more local economy. My entire collection as of this moment is of USA-made dipes.

Re: What is most important to you in buying a diaper?

I picked style/system but the reason I've gone with the system I have is easy of wash which I guess I could say fiber content too... I don't want issues with washing...
