Re: Heartburn and hair

With my son I had such bad heartburn that I nearly threw up in my c-section (he was out of me at that point but that tells you what laying flat did to me). He had some hair, but I wouldn't call it a full head. http://www.ourunplannedlife.com/2008...os-of-max.html This is him in the hospital. He was born 9/26 of that year.

Re: Heartburn and hair

I had mild heartburn during my first, sporadically. He had hair. Not an outrageous amount but not just a sprinkle, either.

I had horrific heartburn with my second and she was born with long, thick black hair.

I can't recall having any while pregnant with the third. If I had any, it must not have been very bad or often. She had hair, somewhat like my firstborn - not a whole lot, but a fair amount.

I had one or two really mild episodes of heartburn with my fourth and she had a whole head full of black hair like my second child had. Tons of it!

(Both have dark blonde hair now, believe it or not!)

I am almost 15 weeks with this one and haven't had any heartburn so far. We shall see what this one has in the fall!

DS1=horrible heartburn! DS2=no more than usual. Both were born with a full head of brown hair .

Three for three on heartburn. Two for three on hair for sure - we'll see on number 3 for hair.

I had retched heartburn with all four babies. Three had lots of hair, one was a baldy. I noticed no difference in the heartburn and amount of hair.

I have only gotten heartburn while pregnant. Both my girls had a good head of hair. A friend of mine required perscription meds to control her heartburn while pregnant, and all three of her kids were cue balls.

Heartburn with three, and have had a little already with this one.

All three of my kiddos came out with full heads of dark hair, #3 had the most but not the worst heartburn.

We shall see what #4 looks like in October. Truthfully though, I think I would be in shock if the kid was a baldy.

My sister had a hairy little girl and she never complained of heartburn and another sister had two with very little hair and had nasty heartburn, and sil had three cue balls and had moderate heartburn.

Who knows? I think heartburn for me comes more from different foods, ice cream, chocolate And anything with vegetable oil kills me in pregnancy.
