Janine, mostly is it long because of all the interpreting that needs to happen. Also when a person is elderly here they are considered vulnerable to there are always social worker visits and mental heath visits before release is finalized.

This made me giggle. My parents can read with glasses too...but they don't wear them in the shower. That's where most of the shampoo/soap/connditioner/lotion mishaps happen. Any meds mixups is because they don't think they *need* to see to take meds.

Me too. Started a month ago. Apparently that is the first signs of when your eyes change to needing reading glasses. The reading glasses won't help now, but will when they finish changing. Joys of getting old. Poo.

The cake is frosted with the zillion stars, but I haven't decided on how the figures will descend upon the cake. They are a bit big for this cake, and he wants 7 of them on there plus the "5" candle. Don't think that is possible, without it looking like I dropped a box of figures on the cake by accident. I will figure it out in the morning.

I have no idea what you all are talking about with the math. I am so glad I don't have to teach my kids math, that they just get it on their own. Rosie's teacher said Rosie said the reason she memorized her multiplication table so quickly is because I put up a poster from the dollar store of all the tables in her room. I doubt it, I think she already somehow had it in her mind. Ian can make change in monopoly (regular, not junior) and tell you how many minutes until bedtime no matter what time it is. They are all uncannily good at math. I should make them do our taxes.

LOL at glasses in the shower. I couldn't read a label in the shower if I tried. Luckily I know what all the stuff we have in there is, and so I don't end up making many mistakes. Except when I am really tired and put shampoo on my face...

Getting sleepy.

Actually my parents can both read without glasses. Being a nurse my mom is prone to be overly cautious about meds. They actually only have 3 prescription meds for mom and one for my dad.

Mel when I get time to look at Jerry's phone and find pics yes
