Emily, we're definitely all here for you and want you to be happy and successful.

I'm feeding all the time (some of which isn't active), DD has great output, but she's not gaining much. I hate being so worried about whether or not we're going to get criticized at our next appointment - I hate feeling helpless. I think I need to do breast compressions every feed and pump more regularly to possibly supplement. *sigh*

Anyone know how to make your milk more fatty?

No idea:/ eat full fat foods like greek yogurt, avocados, nuts

downloaded a baby tracker app bc i wanted to see our trends-thx for the idea. He has slept an hour, nursed for 6-10minutes, slept an hour, repeat! Crazy!!

Started squats and push ups today with an app that tracks those. Im hoping to do 100pushups/day and 200squats/day eventually!

Hugs Emily! I hope you can get the help you need. It can be so overwhelming having a newborn and other children who need you too.

Breast compressions can definitely make a difference. I would also try block feeding - keep nursing on one side for 2-3 feeds in a row - to increase the amount of hindmilk she's getting. The hindmilk is where all the fat is in breastmilk.

I found a few sites that might be of some help:
What affects the amount of fat or calories in momís milk?
How might I increase babyís weight gain?
Average Weight Gain for Breastfed Babies

A mom in my DDC with DS3 had a few good sites that have a kinda program to work up to just that!
one hundred pushups
two hundred situps
two hundred squats
When DH and I were doing the pushups and situps a few years ago we found the program really easy to use/follow, yet it definitely made a difference and we were gaining muscle

Thanks Elena!

I used those push-up/sit-up programs before I went to basic training - they worked well!

Well I'm hoping my milk comes in today. Aubree hasn't had many dirty diapers, I called my midwife and they said its ok, but I'd just feel better. :-/
