Breastfeeding woes

Is it normal for a 2 week old to want to nurse every hour? I have never experienced this before, and I'm just exhausted! We were doing really good at around every 2 hours. Then yesterday it was every 1.5 hours, and today it's almost hourly. Please tell me that this wont last!

There's a 2 week growth spurt. Hang in there, mama...probably will only last a few days.

Been there! What time of day was it, or is it right now?

AFM: currently a boob slave, despite a desire to make a smoothie for lunch.

Yup, right now. Nursing as I type.

Super normal for my DD right now too. Exhausting for all involved! She ends up just falling asleep on my boob.

Normal for us right now. Ugh, it's exhausting and yet so boring. I'm tired of sitting around! And as soon as one is done, the other wants to eat. My nipples do not appreciate it at all either. Good thing I feel strongly about breastfeeding if I am able :/

Oh, I agree! It would be soooo nice to not have to do every feeding, but I will just try to be thankful that I can breastfeed. I know moms who would give anything to be able to.

Yup, likely a growth spurt. And I agree - while sometimes I'm like another feeding?!!!, I try to always remember that some mamas who really want to nurse aren't able to and I am blessed to have nursed all my babies past a year.
