Think of hind milk and foremilk going out like a straw. You get both. Foremilk inside the straw, then hind outside the straw. But you get both, at every feed. The ratio just changes. Does that make sense..?

Stupid foremilk. Im dying over here.

Nursing dd was so easy and nursing ben has been one thing after another.

And it makes me feel stupid that i cant solve my own problems.

I have changed 4 poop diapers in 3 hours. Seriously losing my mind bw my bigs fighting all day long, me trying to keep up with all the household chores by myself and dealing with bens problems......pain, dipes, crying. I can barely get a shower. I almost feel over stimulated.

And dh want to be stimulated and i feel like there isnt enough "left over" me to give him. Gah!!

Rant over. Sry, i keep bugging about this stupid problem. I know some ppl would kill for oversupply.

I've always just gotten children's probiotic capsules at, like, walmart or wherever (health food stores would have them too) then just open a capsule and use about half the powder for a "baby dose" - when we were using them (when I was on meds for mastitis, and trying to prevent thrush or rashes for Levi) we would give him half the powder by mouth, then sprinkle the other half of that capsule on his bottom at nights.

Hoping this is a turning point. It been one thing after another here.

That makes a lot of sense, to me anyways. So I would expect some backtracking for the first little while, when switching sides, but it should be short-lived.

I kwym about the over-stimulation. Last night I was an absolute bear with the kids - after being in town all day, out and around people, I just wanted peace and quiet. They are... neither peaceful nor quiet. It was a rough evening!

And, hey, no worries about this - it's not a stupid problem! Any problem or trouble with nursing is something to deal with, whether it's too much milk or not enough! (or anything else)
