Is an adorable set, but the since they are different sizes that could be the drawback. The bloomers are 3-6 monthish and the dress is 18-24. That might be the issue.

Oh, I didn't even notice that, MrsStripe. I don't have a baby girl so I didn't pay attention to the specs. I just briefly wondered whether I could pull it off on a boy.

I love this set too! But I have 2 boys. DH doesn't mind them wearing purple, but I think he would draw the line at a dress.

I also noticed the rise on the bloomers is awfully short for a small. In my experience, smalls are usually 16" or so and a too-short rise is tough to work with. It is a STUNNING set, though, and if I had a girl that size or even close to it I'd buy it anyway and just frog the bloomers and re-knit the yarn into proportions that WOULD fit.
