Re: Roll-over ads...

Use Firefox and get their adblock add on. The ads were seriously bogging down my computer to the point where I couldn't have more than 1 tab open and I finally downloaded the add on and the performance on my computer is way up. The pages were taking forever to load, too. Now I can have multiple tabs, windows, and even a high-res game on in the background and my computer doesn't have an issue at all.

I know that's how the site is supported, I get that, but it's a nuisance and when they're affecting my computer's performance...blah.

Agreed.

Yesterday was the "mothers day spa" ad and now it's "arrow." Very annoying.

Re: Roll-over ads...

It bugs me but not to the point of avoiding the site. I just took it as a challenge to try and remember not to roll over it with my mouse. haha

Re: Roll-over ads...

Yeah, this roll over/drop down ad for Arrow is the THIRD one for me. It's driving me INSANE. Not insane enough to not visit, but I am trying extremely hard to keep my pointer off to the the right, just so I don't accidently touch the roll over ad. My first was for something local (I think it was a news station) so I thought it was just that one ad. Then it was for some spa I think and now this one for the tv show. The roll over is SO freaking sensitive, if you even graze a corner it drops down and it stays there for like a whole minute. If it just dropped for a second, no problem, but this thing is so incredibly obnoxious.

I don't mind the ads, and I have in fact even clicked through a few. Never bought anything from anything advertised, but the ads themselves don't bother me. The drop down is so obnoxious it has the exact opposite effect an ad is supposed to. I use Roku/Netflix to watch tv so I am not watching Arrow anyway, but I would totally boycott it because of that ad.

Re: Roll-over ads...

I'll just add my voice to the rest - I don't mind ads, but I REALLY HATE THE ROLL OVER ONES that take up half the screen!
