I would use a spray bottle too and you can keep wipes in the area, as opposed to having to run back and forth to the bathroom when its a dirty one.

Depends how humid where you live is too. We live in the tropics and I definitely wouldn't pre wet here. It would get a mildew smell within an hour or two and mould within a day lol. If you do pre-wet a stack I would leave it in an open container. Maybe shallow dish with water at the bottom so they stay wet. As I have found sealing wet wipes in a container- like when out and about- makes them mildewy even in dry places and more likely to cause a sore bottom. I definitely prefer to wet as we go.
