Re: Pagan families thread!

Can I jump onto your wagon?
Always felt more like a Wiccan/Pagan. I hold a lot of these kinds of values and feel more spiritual and natural ways are for me.
I did not grow up with any religion. I do not know of/belong to any religious groups. I would like to, and I would like to be more of an active Pagan, but i don't even know where to start.

Re: Pagan families thread!

I've never had the space for an alter of my own but now my SO (who's also semi-pagan; definitely "earth-based spiritual") is going to clear a shelf for me to have one!! I've dabbled in kitchen witchery for a while. I've never actually been a practicing ANYTHING; my spiritual self has been trapped under a rock and I just told her "shhh, shhh.. just stay there".

I don't know if I am comfortable with any specific deities but showing any appreciation to the universe probably counts, right?

From what I understand Pagan can be a general umbrella for non-Abrathamic religions, but Hindus and Buddhist generally don't like to be included. That said, I think Shamanism most certainly falls into the Pagan category.

So DD saw her new doctor for the first time yesterday and they asked if I wanted to record a religion for her, so I said Pagan!

I see a lot of seekers here. I would be happy to answer questions for anyone. There is a lot of confusion when you first start seeking and I am always happy to help others get started on their spiritual journey. It is important to realize that not everything you read that says 'this is what's what' is not going to resonate with you. That's ok, there are answers out there for you

The only one I know is a more of a releasing after calling on them but I like it just as a general chant too.

The earth, the air, the fire, the water, return return, return, return.
