Did a support belt help with the pubic bone pain?

I am wondering about this for our next pregnancy (which I hope will happen soon!). My babies sit very low and I have pubic bone pain. I also have had them 1, 2 and then 3 weeks before their guess date. I'm hoping to not continue this trend and I wonder if a belt would help that. I had one for #3 but never wore it because it was bulky and hard to put on. I also wondered if it would interfere with optimal birth positioning.
Does anybody any advice or a belt they absolutely loved?
TIA!

I have one that I have worn off and on this pregnancy. It is the Soft Form belt on Amazon. I had terrible hip pain with DS and started having it this time too at the beginning of 2nd tri. I wore the belt off and on for a while and felt much better. I have heard that you shouldn't wear a belt all the time because it takes the pressure off some muscles which can atrophy over time. This is why I wouldn't wear mine all the time. Overall, I definitely feel like it helped. I'm now 35 weeks pregnant and haven't been wearing it but may break it out again if I need to.

Re: Did a support belt help with the pubic bone pain?

I used a Belevation belly band that really helped me with some pelvic pain I was having. I got it in particular becase the other support belts seemed so clunky and cumbersome. It is amazing and made a big difference for me. Also arnica seemed to help as well. I actually am going to be listing my size small EUC black band if you may be interested in getting it

I've used a support belt with all 3 pregnancies. I have something like SPD I think, but it helped tremendously with pelvic/hip pain. I couldn't get through a day of normal activity without it. Never noticed muscles atrophying, always am back to normal within a couple months of birth. Last pregnancy I needed it at about 15 weeks. Mine was a wide white band that velcroed in the front from Babies r us....most comfortable worn over a tank top or belly band.

Re: Did a support belt help with the pubic bone pain?

I had SPD and I could barely move at 32 weeks. The chiropractor was able to heal it almost completely!!
