No way would I risk it. I wouldn't bother with the huge hassle of pumping 300 ounces. 10 days is a longggg time for a bf baby to only take a bottle. But like others have said, there may be no need to pump and dump. Most medications are compatible with bf, doctors just don't know so they say pump and dump.

Depends how solid yr nursing relationship is. My LO will be 7 months in a few days. DH and I went on a week long trip without baby. I brought the pump to keep up my supply. LO is very pro boobie and not a bottle fan. She will take a bottle but just doesn't like it.

I had no trouble getting her to nurse. In fact it was the first thing she wanted to do when she saw me.
