Mine were painful until about 4 months in. Now at 20 months i don't feel it at all.

Wow, I have painful letdown and I'm glad to hear that it eases up after time! I'm nearly 5 months in and especially the first few of the day are tough.

i agree with other posts here- i am about a week post baby'd birthday and the let down is much more painful for the first couple months, especially if you are super engorged. this is my second baby, so i have hope!

i have been doing some research on ppd because i had a mild case of it last time around and that can be a symptom women experience, too. just a thought. high anxiety can be an indicator too. hopefully those ideas are encouraging for some new resources to check out!
