It's still very early, but I love pondering names. Our boys are Liam and Emerson. We obviously have no idea yet if this baby is a boy or girl, so give me ideas for both. We like names that easy to spell and read. We prefer names that aren't super common, but go figure, the year after we chose Liam, it jumped like 30 spots on the charts. I tend prefer names that don't immediately lend themselves to nicknames, but that's not a hard and fast rule. For the same of flowing with our last name, I don't like names that start with hard C or K sounds, or one syllable names.

And go!

ETA: for boy names, we've liked Roman and Ammon in the past. For a girl, we talked about Paige or Avery.

I like Lyra as that's my babies name (I pronounce it (Leer-Ah) and have yet to meet a girl with that name. Unfortunately my first DD we named Bella before all the twilight hit and now Isabella is super popular and even though my DD's name is just Bella (not short for anything) I always get that as a first question.

Anywho I like these for girls names:

Jorah. Aurelia

Greenly. Ora

Ellory. Pepper-Ann

Piper. Ophelia

Boys names:

Rowan Conlin

Ethan. Henry

Aaron. Evan

Quincy.
