I'm losing my mind!!! (one puddle at a time!)

I think we missed the golden moment in potty training! My daughter was on track and somewhere along the way she has just stopped. Now she sits on the potty and says no no no. then hides somewhere and pees OR other things... Feeling a little crazy and no idea where to go!

The day my middle DD peed in a tea pot and brought it to me was the day I lost my mind.

They do eventually get it. Sounds like she isn't ready. Maybe try a break and give it a go later?

time to take a break. there is only so much you can control as a parent and pottying is not one of them. regression is very normal so dont let it get you upset.

I would stop and just wait until she wants to again. Don't make a big deal about it and don't be upset. My DD will be 3 in October and she is just starting to pee on the potty. If you push her and she doesn't want to, you could end up making it worse

I dont think there is a "golden moment/age" - It is not like she will go to college in diapers... I would just wait and when she is ready she will. I do not push PT - we just wait until our LO say they want to and go from there. I dont like cleaning up pee and doing a timer (what a waist of time!).

Don't feel bad, I'm having a similar issue. My daughter will be 3 soon and she has actually gone backwards. She was completely PT. She is jealous of our son who is now 9 months. For about 6 months now she has refused to use the potty. Everyone kepts telling me she will do it again when she is ready. I know I'm way past ready but I know over time she will start again.

Haha That is totally awesome! My DD pooped in the litterbox. Not that I blame her; I mean, it is a condoned potty spot (for the dog, lol). Gotta love it. Try not to stress op.

This post made my day . . . I have felt the same way with my 3 year old daughter. She gets it half the time, but the other time --- no way! Now, let's not even talk about #2

Give it a break. My ped said the more kiddos see its a big deal to you, the more they resist.
