For the love of all things WOOL!

Calling all yarnies! Where are all my knitters, hookers, dyers, spinners etc?!

I need to get my knitting mojo back and build a new stash for my girls. Anyone up for a chat/knit a long?! I would love to see what everyone else is up to, and get the motivation I need to knit all this beautiful yarn I have just sitting here.

I'm in I'm working on a FASC right now for my mom, and I'm about to start a top and a skirt for dd. I'm also getting paid to do another FASC, but I won't get the yarn for that until early next month.

Yay!

Okay...off to browse Ravelry to choose what project I want to make first, and what yarn to use.

I think you mean Penguins longies with the Damask

I only have an Explorer vest left to knit for #1. Butch hasn't gotten anything new yet, but last years longies still fit. His plans are an Explorer Vest, Longies, and a Flax Pullover sweater. Agent p still has a long list. I've only done 3 pair of longies and 2 sweaters so far. She's got about 4 more pair of longies, some bayside britches, some overalls, and a romper at least.

Yeah yeah! :P Actually, I have another colorway that matches the penguins better. The you're is more of a gold. It matches our penguins Jerseys better than damask. I'll try to get a picture of it soon. I need to update my rav stash anyway.

Oh, what colorway, I might could make some room in my yarn drawer for some. I think Purewool Wood is a great match for it as long as you get the right dye lot of it. I also have some Patons in close colors. I'd almost be willing to find and send you an old yellow and gold shirt just so you don't have to put your child in steelers clothes though

Any chance you've outgrown some pink penguins gear you can pass down.

Re: For the love of all things WOOL!

I still haven't decided on what to knit first, maybe just some longies for now. My sister and I want to make stockings for Christmas, so we are going to start now. I have 8 kids and she has 3, so hopefully we can get them done by Christmas.
