ETA: Went back and read more and I would not be worried at all if I were you. Mine also leveled off at that age as she became more active. Sounds like you are also doing a great job of offering a variety of healthy foods. He is happy and meeting milestones. He us not way out of the norm range. Who cares about the chart?

Re: 15 month old not gaining

I haven't read the rest of this post; so I might be behind
but my 14 month old would not eat hardly anything from about 8 m- 12 m (just nursed or bottle- and this was after he was well established eating solids since he started around 5 months) and did not gain anything in that time period; meal time was a war-b/c like you siad you can't force feed them. I just let him eat whatever he was interested in even if it wasn't super healthy b/c I was just gla he was eating. turned out he had an ear infection that was undiagnosed (despite multiple dr apts- and no real symptoms). Once that cleared up that kid started eating like no other and gained almost 2 lbs in a month; overall even when he wasn't eating much he was still healthy- just drove me crazy b/c he would feed all night b/c he was only nursing/bottle; but in the long run it didn't hurt him (but he wasn't loosing weight either- just not gaining; and he was kind of chunky before this anyways- so he just kind of filled out).

Re: 15 month old not gaining

I thought it was standard that kids didnt gain much or anything at that age because they were thinning out.

I would add avocados and olive oil to both if your diets. You said he likes bread so either butter it or dip in olive oil or spread an avocado on it like butter.
My dd is almost 15 months and started walking at 14 months. She was 23lb and some ounces at her 12 month but lately feels thinner. We go to her 15month check up next week. She sill nurses during the day but had weaned through the night about 7 months.
Hope this helps you.
