Natural 'bath' doll?

Last Christmas dd1 got a plastic doll that was supposed to go in the tub. I ditched it of course since it smelled gross, was cheap plastic, aand I knew it would get mildewy fast in the bathwater. She's asking for one again. Any good options that won't get gross inside? A cloth doll that I can re-stuff with plastic beads? Any ideas?

What about a wooden doll? Maybe some peg dolls?
